Overview
The Quick Update function in the IQ Tech Portal enables operators to efficiently modify multiple planogram selections at once. Instead of updating each selection individually, this feature allows you to define a selection range and apply updates to key inventory parameters in bulk.
This is particularly useful for standardizing Critical Levels, Low Levels, Par Levels, and Pricing across similar products or machine sections.
Key Capabilities
- Bulk update multiple selections in a defined range
- Modify the following fields:
- Critical Level (minimum threshold before urgent refill)
- Low Level (early warning threshold)
- Par Level (target stock level)
- Price
- Immediate system save upon execution (no secondary save required)
When to Use Quick Update
Use this function when:
- Setting consistent inventory thresholds across a row or category
- Adjusting stock levels due to demand changes
- Updating pricing across multiple selections
- Performing initial machine configuration or resets
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Navigate to Planogram
- Open the IQ Tech Portal
- Select the desired Machine
- Go to the Planogram section
2. Identify Selection Range
- Determine the starting and ending selection numbers you want to update
- Example: 100 to 107
3. Open Quick Update
- Click the Quick Update button located at the top of the planogram screen
4. Enter Selection Range
- Input:
- Start Selection: 100
- End Selection: 107
5. Update Desired Fields
- Enter values only for the fields you want to change:
- Critical Level: e.g., 2
- Low Level: e.g., 5
- Leave fields blank if no change is required:
- Par Level: (unchanged)
- Price: (unchanged)
6. Save Changes
- Click Save within the Quick Update window
Expected Result
- All selections within the defined range (100–107) will be updated
- Selections outside the range will remain unchanged
- Only the fields entered will be modified
- Changes are saved immediately—no additional save action is required
