CBM and MSO 1300 Series (V3 and E3) – Firmware 05.01.e – Windows QuickLoader
- Click “Download”
- Enter your Email Address
- Accept terms of Agreement. Once accepted, you will receive an email with the link to download the firmware file
NOTE: The link will be valid for 2 days. If you do not access the link within that timeframe, please repeat the above steps.
- Access link - this will automatically download the firmware update file
- Connect reader device to your computer via USB port
To complete this step, you will need to either- Take your laptop to the machine, power the machine off, unplug the reader from machine Raspberry Pi (this is the green credit card size control board) and connect to your laptop
- Remove the reader from the machine (there are 4 11/32 nuts holding the reader in place - to remove, first turn off machine, unplug reader, remove nuts, slide off)
- Once the reader is connected open file "NEMO_V02.01.e"
- If you get a window stating "Windows protected your PC" click on "More info" just below the paragraph, and then click on “Run anyway.”
- This download file will not harm your computer; this message is alerting you that an unrecognized app is running. This is app is coming from a credited source, and will be fine to run on your PC
- Once the Quick Loader opens, click “Next”
- Verify “a USB connection” is selected. Click “Next”
- Once completed, click “Finish”
- Disconnect device and reconnect to machine via any available USB port on the Raspberry Pi device. Power machine on.
